The best way to find out the product is a pirated copy is to carefully study the package and the text on it. All the text on original cards and boxes is written correctly. While purchasing the product, pay attention to the following:

All main words in the name of the product start with capital letters.

Regional distribution
When the pirates distribute their goods in more than one region, regional restrictions template on the box may be unfilled.

Even if the box does not look suspicious, check the contents in the sales clerk’s presence. The original package contains the following items:
- The document (a card or a Quick Start Guide) with an activation code.
- End User License Agreement.
- The installer.
Card / Quick Start Guide
The activation code can be used only for one Kaspersky product, not two or more.
The card should have a rectangular form and the code should be covered with a scratch-off layer.
The code consists of 20 characters divided into four 5-character groups.
Scratch-off layer
The layer that covers an activation code should be scratched off with a hard object, not torn off.
It should correspond to the height of the characters in the code.
