Open the Avira Exchange Security configuration and follow the next steps to activate or improve spam detection.
Configure spam criteria
- Navigate to Policy Configuration → Mail Transport Jobs → Right-click Properties for Scan for Spam with Avira Antispam.
- Click the Actions tab, then the Combined Criteria button.
- Click the Spam (Classification) tab and enable the option SASI results.
Configure spam properties
- Navigate to Policy Configuration → Mail Transport Jobs → Right-click Properties for Scan for Spam with Avira Antispam.
- Click the tab Actions, then the Definitive Criteria.
- Click the No Spam tab and disable the Microsoft Exchange “No Spam” SCL Value option.
Save the configuration and check the behavior of the system.
The emails should now be correctly filtered against spam.
Add a string to email subject
Check if the job is working correctly by temporarily adding a string to the email subject.
