As you add websites to True Key on your iOS device, you can create your own passwords, or you can let True Key create a password for you. By default, passwords created by True Key are very strong, but you can choose how strong they are by following the steps in this article.
The following steps are for Apple iOS devices; but, the steps are similar for Android devices:
  1. Open the True Key app.
  2. Log in with your registered email address and password.
  3. On the menu, tap Launchpad.
  4. In the Launchpad, tap the plus (+) icon to add a new login.
  5. Either select one of the popular websites shown, or type in the site details manually.
  6. On the Details page, tap the password generator icon in the Password field. True Key generates a strong password for you. You can make the following changes:
    • Password length: By default, the password length is 15 characters. Use the slider to create a longer or shorter password.
    • Letters: Enable or disable letters (a-z) in the password.
    • Numbers: Enable or disable digits (numerals) in the password.
    • Special Characters: Enable or disable symbols (like $, £) in the password.
    • Capitals: Enable or disable capital (uppercase) letters in the password.

NOTE: When you change one of these options, tap Generate Strong Password to create the new password. You can tap Generate Strong Password multiple times until you are satisfied with the password generated.

  7. Tap Insert to insert the password into your new website login.
  8. Tap Save to save the new login.
