To collect Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool trace files:

  1. Press and hold the Win and R keys on your keyboard.

  1. Drag-and-drop the installer to the Run window.

  • In the entry line, the path to the file will appear.
  1. Type -trace after the path to the file and click OK.

A trace file under the name KVRT.<version_date_time_random characters>.log.enc1 will be created in the C:\KVRT2020_Data\Traces folder
