Scenario: You may get a continuous popup from K7 stating that Host file has modified. This happens when unwanted extensions/toolbar modifies HOST file.
Steps to follow:
- Do the complete scan by K7.
- Remove Unknown/unwanted extension from the browser.
- Reset the browser setting and delete the cache/cookies.
- Check the Host entry and replace it with this under below location. C:windowssystem32driversetc
- Remove the unwanted application from the control panel.
- Reset the internet properties.
