This article lists the system requirements for F-Secure Internet Security for all supported operating systems.

Things to do before installation:

  • Make sure you have an active Internet connection to validate your subscription and receive updates.
  • Enable Javascript in your browser settings to enable active block pages.
Note: We recommend that you only install one antivirus software product on your computer. If you have more than one antivirus software product installed, this may lead to performance issues.
    • Supported Windows versions:
      • Windows 10* with the latest updates installed
      • Windows 8.1*
      • Windows 7 (SP1)

*ARM-based tablets are not supported.

  • Processor: Intel Pentium 4 or higher
  • Memory requirements: 1GB or more
  • Disk space: 600 MB free disk space
