There are several ways to view the assets in your network, and you can use filters to see the data that is most relevant to you.

On the Assets page, you can view the data in the following two modes:

  • List view – Shows all assets in a flat list which can be sorted by various criteria, such as asset name, vulnerability, criticality, etc.
  • Grouped by – Allows you to group the assets by one of the following attributes: Department, Business owner, Hardware type, Operating system, Country, or Asset tags.

Note: You can group assets by manually-added asset tags only.

The standard Elements Vulnerability Management filtering can be used to filter the assets. Click the chevron next to Filter to see the available options for filtering the assets. For example, the Asset source option allows you to filter the assets to see only the assets which have been scanned by the authenticated network vulnerability scan.

To view the data of an individual asset:

    1. On the Assets page, click the asset name.

The Asset details page opens, with all available information about the asset.

  1. If you want to manually edit or add data to the asset details, the various attributes assigned to the asset in the Description tab, or the data in the Notes tab, click the pen icon in the top-right corner of the respective tab, edit or add the desired data and select Save.

Note: To see the latest network vulnerability scan report for the asset in question, click the link icon next to the vulnerability ratings.
