When Banking Protection is turned on, it automatically detects when you access online banking websites or other sites that contain sensitive information.

When you open an online banking website in your browser, Banking Protection gets activated, and a Banking Protection frame appears around your computer screen with a green tick at the top. This indicates that Banking Protection is now active. While active, Banking Protection only allows connections that it considers safe, all other connections are blocked.

Note: You may want to change the product settings for Banking Protection when it is active, for example:

  • If you do not want to interrupt your other active connections when Banking Protection is active, or
  • If you do not want Banking Protection to clear the clipboard when the Banking Protection session ends.

While Banking Protection is on, access the settings as follows:

    1. Select the green tick at the top of your screen, then select .

This opens up the Settings menu for Secure Browsing & Banking.

  1. Modify the settings for Banking Protection to suit your need.

Once you close the browser or finish the banking session, you do not have to do anything. Banking Protection automatically detects that the banking session is over and closes the Banking Protection frame.

Note: If Banking Protection does not activate and you do not see the frame appear, check that the Browsing Protection extension is turned on in the web browser that you use.
