Limitations of upgrading to Windows 10
If you have Kaspersky Internet Security / Kaspersky Anti-Virus (version 15.0.1.415 patch D, version 15.0.1.415 patch С, version 14.0.0.4651 patch J, version 13.0.1.4190 patch M), or Kaspersky PURE 3.0 (version 15.0.1.415 patch H) installed on your computer, upon upgrading to Windows 10 you will receive a notification that prompts to download and install the version of your Kaspersky product which is compatible with Windows 10.
Click the notification and select Download and install in the download tool window. Follow the steps of the setup wizard.
- The compatible version of a Kaspersky product will be installed only if KB3074683 for Windows 10 is installed on your computer.
- After the upgrade to Windows 10, some files may remain in the folder %CommonProgramFiles% \AV\ <Installed_product_name>\ (for example: %CommonProgramFiles%\AV\Kaspersky Internet Security).
- Microsoft Edge does not support the Kaspersky Protection extension.
