How to uninstall AntiVirus for Linux (McAfee)

To remove AntiVirus for Linux from your Linux PC or server, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Applications menu.
  2. Select the Ubuntu Software Center.
  3. In the search box, type MAVL.
  4. Select McAfee AntiVirus For Linux.
  5. Click Remove.
  6. When prompted, enter your authentication credentials.
  7. Click Authenticate.
