Follow the steps below if your Avira Antivirus does not work properly and you have to perform a repair installation.
- Download the latest Antivirus installation file.
- Double-click the downloaded file.
- Select the Repair/Update option and click Next.
- Verify if all the required components are flagged for installation and click Next.
- The Antivirus installation will now be repaired. After completing the repair, a restart may be necessary.
Note
A repair installation will set all app settings back to default.
