This article shows how to find and collect these logs on unmanaged clients. These logs can then be sent as email attachments to Malwarebytes Business Support.
Collect Malwarebytes Anti-Malware logs
- Open File Explorer from your Taskbar.
- Go to the following folder path:
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware\Logs - Press Ctrl + a to select all the files in the directory > right-click the selected files > Send to > click Compressed (zipped) folder to create a zipped folder of the Anti-Malware logs.
Collect Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit logs
- Open File Explorer from your Taskbar.
- Go to the following folder path:
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit - Press Ctrl + a to select all the files in the directory > right-click the selected files > Send to > click Compressed (zipped) folder to create a zipped folder of the Anti-Exploit logs.
Collect Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware logs
- Go to the following folder path:
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MB3Service\logs - Press Ctrl + a to select all the files in the directory > right-click the selected files > Send to > click Compressed (zipped) folder to create a zipped folder of the Anti-Ransomware logs.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the following folder paths:
- C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MB3Service\ArwDetections
- C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MB3Service\ARW
Send collected logs to Malwarebytes Business Support
After gathering the needed logs, follow instructions provided by your Malwarebytes support agent to upload logs.
