Optimizing network usage with App security (F-Secure Android)

You can configure the network settings to optimize App security’s network usage on your Android device in the following way:

1. 1. Open FREEDOME VPN.
   2. On the main view, swipe down and tap APP SECURITY.
   3. Make sure App security is turned on.

When App security is turned off, apps are not sent for scanning at all.

1. Do one of the following:
   • Select Use both Wi-Fi and mobile networks for scanning to allow connections over Wi-Fi and mobile networks. Apps are uploaded to F-Secure for scanning. This option is recommended but it may cause extra charges in mobile networks.
   • Select Use Wi-Fi only to allow only connections over Wi-Fi.
