To test the protection free of charge, please sign up for a new Emsisoft user account first, then login at MyEmsisoft and download your personalized installer from there by using the ‘Add device’ or ‘Install protection’ buttons in your newly created workspace.
The download will automatically connect the software with your personal management panel and enable all features. This is the quickest and easiest method for installation.
Alternative installers for special use cases
- Web installer (MSI) – This is a generic installer that does not automatically connect to your MyEmsisoft account, but instead requires manual log in after installation via a pop-up window.
It is a small, fully automated web installer that will download and run the files on your computer to install Emsisoft protection. (~1 MB). After install, signatures will be up to date. - 64 bit MSI installer – If you require MSI-based installations, this 64-bit MSI installer can be used (contains only 64-bit files) which includes signature files. (~340 MB). Will still require a signature update after install to be current.

Uninstall
If you need to uninstall the program, you can do so using the information on our “How do I completely uninstall an Emsisoft Product” page.
Please do not just delete any files in the program folder as that may lead to system instability. Always use the uninstaller.
