When you try to install from a CD or redeem a retail card, you see an issue or error. This error stops your product from being activated.
NOTE: You must always activate your McAfee product at: https://www.mcafee.com/activate.
NOTE: If you do not see the option to select a country or language, contact Customer Support.
Try to type the key again. If you still see the Invalid Product Code error, contact Customer Support.
- Put the CD in your drive. The installation begins automatically.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to install your McAfee product.
- Right-click the McAfee icon on your taskbar and select Activate now.
- Type the CD Key and select Activate.
An Activation Successful message is shown.
