Activation

• Activation is required in order to update all device drivers.
• Click Register Now on the bottom right corner, enter Registration Key and then click Activate Now.

Once activated, the Register Now button disappears and is only available in the Support- > Enter Registration Key.

Installation

• Online version available -> it is necessary to be connected to install the product.
• Installation itself is simple. The only interaction is EULA agreement, the rest of the process is automatic.

AVG Driver Updater interface (screens)

The interface is divided to seven different screens accessible from the top menu:

• Home screen – contains system summary and overview
• Scan – to perform scan for drivers and windows updates
• Results – to see the results of scan
• Options – to set various options regarding behavior of the product, backup/restore options, update of AVG Driver Updater and schedule. This is divided to several sub tabs.
• Backup – to create a backup of currently used drivers
• Restore – to restore previously backed up drivers in case of issues after updating those
• Support – to open support.avg.com page, enter registration key and manually check for updates of AVG Driver updater program

Uninstallation

The uninstallation is performed from the control panels as for any other program.
AVG Driver Updater might be running in the background if “Run at Windows Startup” option is enabled – in this case it is necessary to shut it down from system tray:
