Disabling Malicious Traffic Detection (Sophos)

Applies to: Sophos Home Premium (Windows and Mac)

This article provides steps on how to disable Malicious Traffic Detection (MTD) via the Sophos Home Dashboard. These steps may be needed to troubleshoot problems, be sure to re-enable it after finishing troubleshooting.

Instructions

To disable Malicious Traffic Detection:

1. Access your Sophos Home Dashboard
2. Click the computer where you need to disable Malicious Traffic Detection (MTD)
   
3. Go to Protection tab > then General tab.
   
4. Switch off the toggle under Malicious Traffic Detection.
   

Note: Disabling Malicious Traffic Detection is NOT recommended, and should only be used for troubleshooting purposes.
