This topic explains how to check that antivirus is on and is working as it should.

The antivirus part of the app is working when you can see a green tick in the main app view.

If you have turned scanning off, a yellow exclamation mark appears in the middle of the shield with the text “Your device is not protected“. In the Virus & Threat protection view, the setting is also set to OFF.

To turn the protection on again, do the following:

  1. In the main app view, select Virus & Threat protection.
  2. Select Turn ON to reactivate the protection.

If it has been a while since you last scanned your device, select SCAN to activate a virus scan.
