To ensure the highest level of security, we have implemented the Protection Cloud in the Avira engine of Avira Security for Mac.
The Protection Cloud is automatically set to active and can no longer be deactivated via the user interface.
Note
Customer files are not uploaded to the cloud system. Avira only generates anonymous hashes of suspicious files and sends them to the cloud system for analysis. There is no way for Avira to identify where these hashes have been generated.
