By setting up daily time limits, you can limit the amount of time that your child can use their device.

You can restrict the following:

  • How long your child is allowed to use their device per day. For example, you can allow access for only one hour per day.
  • At what time, your child is allowed to start using their device. For example, you can allow access only at 4 p.m. on school days.

Note: If you turn off the time limits, the child can use the device at any time.

To set the allowed times:

  1. On your own device, select People.
  2. Select the child’s device from the list.
  3. Under FAMILY RULES, make sure that Daily Time Limits is ON.
    • If Daily Time Limits is OFF, select Daily Time Limits and use the slider to turn it on, then select SAVE.
  4. On the Daily Time Limits page, set the maximum number of hours that your child is allowed to spend on the device on weekdays and at weekends:
    1. For weekdays, use the slider to change the maximum time allowed per day.
    2. Select Save.
    3. For weekends, use the slider to change the maximum time allowed per day.
    4. Select Save.

Note: If you do not want to limit the amount of time that the child spends on the device each day, drag the slider as far to the left as possible to set the allowed number of hours to Unlimited.
