If routers is configured in the interfaces and in need to access the computers configured under the router, it is required to configure static routes policy in K7 Security UTM appliance.

The static route policy shall create static routing entries that decides based on the source address, source netmask, destination address, destination netmask, service, interface, gateway and metric.

Below steps shall be followed to configure Static routing on a K7 Security UTM appliance.

Steps to be followed:

1: Login to K7 Security UTM, Click on Configuration

2: Click on the Configuration > Routing /Load Balancing tab.

3: Click on the Static Routing > Add

4: Provide the destination type as subnet and provide the router LAN IP and gateway type and configure it as Gateway Route and provide the gateway IP as router wan IP address.

5: For adding next hop click on Add after and select the Row.

6: For adding previous hop click on Add Before and select the Row.


7:
 After making the necessary configuration, Click Save and Restart Service.
