Microsoft Windows Vista EOS Announcement
Microsoft has announced that all official support for the Windows Vista OS has ended on April 11, 2017, which includes all bug fixes and vulnerability patches. After April 11, any new vulnerability that may be discovered or targeted at Windows Vista will not be addressed by Microsoft and may be of concern to users, especially those who have not yet upgraded to the latest supported OS. Trend Micro End of Support for Windows Vista
Trend Micro continues to recommend that users upgrade to the latest supported version of an OS as soon as possible, but also understands that not everyone is able to upgrade on a regular basis, especially on older machines. In order to help our consumers safely upgrade to the latest operating system, Trend Micro Security line of products can still be installed on Windows Vista machines but with limited technical support for issues that might be encountered.

While our Internet security products can be installed on Windows Vista, we encourage all of our users to upgrade their PCs to a more modern operating system which will provide greater stability and security.
